The tenement house, located in the historical area of the old town, underwent a comprehensive renovation supervised by a conservator. During the restoration, research into the original color palette of the external facades was conducted. Several layers of paint and plaster were discovered and documented, forming the basis for the restoration work. The original yellow and orange facade was replaced with shades of beige and pink.

A new entrance was added on the ground floor to create two independent housing units. Additionally, extra windows were installed on the façade and roof to accommodate the building’s new function. The existing woodwork was inventoried and replaced with new materials. The reconfiguration of the first-floor apartment allowed for the addition of an extra bedroom, enhancing the living space. This renovation carefully balanced modern needs with the preservation of the building’s historical character.
